How can some people hack computers, msn messenger and like this programmes??How do they know the passwords?

The easiest way hackers get access is by randomly guessing at passwords— they get in because people make their passwords too easy. And believe it or not, some hackers actually call people at work, say “I am John from the HelpDesk and I need your password” and people actually give the passwords out!
I was able (years ago) to get into my company’s payroll system by just guessing my boss’s password— it was his wife’s name and it took me like 2 tries to get in. I didn’t actually DO anything though… and at another former job, you would be surprised at how many people had “password” as their password!
-Change your passwords frequently (every 30-90 days)
-Use upper AND lower case letters
-Use numbers and special characters
-Don’t use things about you that are easy for others to figure out
-Longer passwords are better, and lengths that are multiples of 7 are, for some reason, harder for hacking software to crack
-Try a pass phrase instead of a password. For example, your phrase may be “I drive a Ford.” But you type it as:
1Dr!vea4rd See how no one would ever guess that!

Typically the pasword stealing and yahoo booting and such makes these lil “script kiddies” as I like to call them think that they are hackers. By the way I like how the hacker in here thinks he is good at code but obviously has never taken a typing class in his life. Lose the gangsta ebonics ebbreviations language in the hood there G. Now then password stealing on MSN and yahoo is really not that hard. All you really need to do is one of two things. You can make a progam to load loads of possibilities of passwords and keep hitting a user name. Yahoo was notorious for these types of programs, making the NAME and illegals so popular and still today.. which is really lame. Some people really need to get a hobbie. Another way was using cookies, Now cookies are typically harder to decypher but there again its all in code.
Hacking is not password stealing, in my opinion that is just a person with way too much time on there hands. Especially messenger name stealing. I mean whats the point.. oh look at me.. i have 6 underscores in my name.. big deal.. your penis is soo much bigger then me now..

They call the server and say I forgot my password and the server changes the password to the datre of birth or something like that

There are other ways to get into a website besides knowing the password… believe me
