How do I down load a different Yahoo Messenger, 7,5 ?

I did not get the Error, with the older ones 7.5 . I don’t have any sound any more, with Yahoo messenger 8.0 You butheads, don’t have it all togather yet !

To uninstall go to Add/Remove programs and remove.
Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Yahoo! Messenger
If that doesn’t work, go to C:Program FilesYahoo! to remove.

I downloaded 7 and it works great!

If your popup blocker doesn’t allow it to download, hold down “Ctrl” while you click on download.
After you download the messenger you can retrieve all of your contacts by going into your contacts and importing contacts. It will guide you through from there.

You could try to uninstall your current Yahoo! Messenger and download from this link @ http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_messenger/. The latest version is Yahoo! Messenger 8.0.0.716. There is a list of previous versions on the right panel for you to select.
